Atty. Ruby Jane Lingating

A psychologist-lawyer, mother, child’s rights advocate, and mental health advocate, she brings
together professional rigor and lived empathy in the pursuit of justice.

Grounded in both psychological science and legal practice, her work is guided by a deep
understanding that legal issues are rarely just about rules and statutes—they are about people,
families, emotions, and life-altering decisions. Her dual training allows her to approach cases
holistically, addressing not only legal strategy but also the psychological realities that influence
behavior, judgment, and outcomes.

As a mother, she understands firsthand the profound responsibility of protecting children’s,
wellness, dignity, and future. This perspective informs her advocacy for child-centered, trauma
-informed, and developmentally sensitive approaches in both legal and psychological work,
particularly in cases involving custody, protection, abuse, and family conflict.

As a child’s rights advocate, she is committed to upholding the best interests of the child
—ensuring that children’s voices are heard, their vulnerabilities understood, and their rights
safeguarded within legal and institutional systems that often overlook their emotional needs.
As a mental health advocate, she actively promotes awareness, early intervention, and
ethical care, recognizing mental health as a fundamental component of justice, human dignity,
and social equity. She champions evidence-based, compassionate practices that reduce
stigma and empower individuals to heal, grow, and make informed decisions.

Through ThinkJust, she advances an integrated model where law meets the mind, delivering
services rooted in competence, empathy, and the belief that justice is most effective when
it is informed by understanding.
